Our single-serve peach crisp is the ultimate summer dessert. If you have just one fresh peach in your kitchen, you’re already halfway to making this incredibly satisfying, comforting treat.
What stands out
A crisp is a fruit-based, baked dessert with a crumbly topping typically made from a combo of flour, oats, butter or milk, and spices. In this single-serve recipe, we're using nutritious oat flour, a touch of brown sugar, crunchy walnuts, and just a bit of milk to help bind the topping. All-purpose flour will also work just fine or you can make your own oat flour by pulsing dried oats in a food processor until a fine dust forms.
When is Peach Season?
Peach season lasts from approximately July to September so make this recipe soon, while peaches are bursting with natural juiciness and need hardly any added sweetener. If you don’t love peaches or can’t find them locally, nearly any fresh fruit will work here: berries; pitted stone fruits, such as nectarines, apricots, or cherries apples, and more.
How to Prepare

Everything gets baked in a single-serve-sized baking dish (such as a ramekin) until the fruit is bubbling and the topping is golden brown. We're partial to serving this with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This would also make a decadent breakfast, served with vanilla yogurt.

Kitchen tip
You can use frozen fruit, but be sure to thaw and drain it before using it in the recipe. Frozen fruit may release more liquid, so you might need to adjust the recipe slightly.
